So, I heard Jon Stewart sucked. I heard the whole thing was bland and boring and all the wrong movies won. Is this true? I couldn't be bothered to watch it myself, only tuning in for Charleeze Theron's extra-dress-on-her-shoulder and lots of plush penguins. Honestly, that and Dustin Hoffman's stoned performance are all I saw. That and Mr. Stewart looking like he was thinking "Is it over yet?" with his Desperate Housewives crack.

A sports commentator made the suggestion, and I like it, that instead of traditional oscars we change the selection process to a playoff format. I like the idea. They can be seeded by nominating vote strength. You can do an award show every few days that only takes an hour and drag it out for 3 or 4 weeks! And it'd still be more interesting!

What are the dates of that again? Because Lynx will be up the weekend of the 25th for chaoticmoth's party, and we could try to go Saturday 3/25?

For your b-day, right. I forgot you were coming up for that. The General has a b-day party to go to on that Saturday 4/1 but other than that I think our calendar is clear.

He'll be here 3/24 through 4/2. Getting in around nine-ish Friday night, leaving kinda early Sunday. Speaking of which, I should go post that again, and see if anyone wants to drive me to the airport to get him. . .

Would you guys be able to go to karaoke on the 25th then, or will you be busy buying a new bed to replace the one you'll have just broken?

Not sure yet. I think we'll probably want to do karaoke. Or at least do something with you guys. He has to meet everybody so he knows who I'm talking about!
We better not break the new bed, that would suck. Maybe I could take it back and say that it was broken when I got it out of the box, I'll have only had it for a month.
