A little less achy

Yes indeed. My neck is feeling a bit better and by tomorrow I should be fine. My big decision this week is whether or not I should work from home on Friday. I did so Monday and I'm doing so today. I hate the drive, but don't want to abuse the priveledge. Hmmm...

I think as far as TiVo goes I'm going to try to get the Linksys TX100 on-line. It is wired and I prefer that. Then again, I couldn't get the cable to attach in the other one, so...

I need food. I was going to have lb cake, but it was moldy so I threw it out. So sad.

Yay! Glad your neck is feeling better. I hate neck pains.

Poordom is helping me with my diet. I have cereal for breakfast, a good lunch and cereal for dinner. Thank goodness cereal has multi-vitamins in it as I'm defintiely not having balanced meals these days. But I just can't afford to buy better food this month. Hmm. between that and the awua aerobics I wonder if I've lost any weight. :D With my luck, I've probably gained!

That reminds me, I need to buy some viatmins.
I hope you've lost and not gained. : -)

Dude. Are you really to poor for food? That's no good. Do you need me to send a care package?
P.S. I would be happy for you, if you lost the weight you wanted to lose, but I'm all about balanced meals of plentyness. Are you gonna step on that scale? ;)

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
If you send her a care package it'll get there in a month. Don't send anything perishable.

[identity profile] urnesha.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah, I'm good. Just a tad confused as to why I'm so poor this month as I bought nothing of substance at the end of January. I think it was just loans that I ahd to repay that crippled me.

[identity profile] sutelae.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)
...did you just seriously say no to a care package?
xD

[identity profile] urnesha.livejournal.com 2006-02-09 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
lol Only because I know you have no more money than I do! Unless, well you do. If so then hell yeah! Send the care package! lol But if not, then don't worry. :D *loves you either way*

[identity profile] wizardru.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
No Cake? Say it isn't so.

The unit I use, btw, is the Netgear MA111...and the V2 versions (which are all you can get, now) are not compatible like the V1 versions were. Odd.

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 05:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, but it is so and I don't want to lie to you.

I just can't figure out what I was doing wrong with the wired version. Why wouldn't the cable click into place?

[identity profile] wizardru.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
No idea. What model of TiVo do you have, anyhow?

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Um... The one with the thing? It has USB ports. Model 2? Is that enough?

[identity profile] emilytheslayer.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol, now you sound like me when you ask me technical questions.

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I got it for free and have no idea what it is. See, nothing wrong with sounding like that! : -)

[identity profile] head58.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
What do you mean the cable wouldn't click in? It's a standard USB port and cable, right? And you've gotten other things to click into the usb port, right?

And you remembered to bring your ticket with you, right? (callback to Logan Airport. The best humor is callback humor)

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I get the adapter to click into the usb port, no problem. I can't get the ethernet cable to click into the adapter. It isn't a standard port. They decided to get clever and have a flip-up door on the top and you appear to have to insert the cable at an angle. It just won't stay in!

And this ain't no holla back, girl.

[identity profile] chaoticmoth.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
How moldy was it? Are we talking complete colonization, or a fungal outpost that could have been broken off?

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
A fungal outpost, but I didn't feel like fussing with it.

[identity profile] chaoticmoth.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
And yet you ate that banana bread!

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
The banana bread had been frozen and had no mold on it.

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't get sick. If there was mold I couldn't see, it was yummy. If I can't see it and it doesn't hurt me, what's the problem. Every time you eat in a resturant you take similar chances.

[identity profile] chaoticmoth.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly, so why not just break off the offending piece of the lb cake? :)

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
because I'd already seen it.

[identity profile] chaoticmoth.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
So basically you will throw away a lot less food if you eat blindfolded?

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
No, more. 'cause then my imagination would be running overtime.

Had I broken off the moldy part I would have had to thoroughly check every other part and I'd be checking it with every bite. Too much work.

[identity profile] sutelae.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
that with the pound cake? Is a tragedy.

[identity profile] lynxreign.livejournal.com 2006-02-08 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, I want to lose pounds, not pound cakes!
