Question

Last night I was having a discussion with classicbri about movies who's origins lie in other media. In other words, adaptations.
I'd like to hear from the extremely opinionated people (all of you) who read my LJ on occasion.

Should movie adaptations stay true to the source material? Does it make a difference if you're adapting a book or comic? What if you're just using characters from a comic and creating something original with established characters?

NPR sucks

Well, they've finally lost it. They've finally pushed me from dissapointed with their coverage to disgusted and angry. They broadcast a piece today on All Things Considered from the head of the National Review that was nothing more than Right Wing gloating backed with lies, propaganda and spin. I'm glad I no longer donate to them and honestly, if I could find a way to get back past donations, I would.
