Meh. 7 years ago that would have been worthwhile...now it's just kinda preaching to the choir. It's not hard to snipe an opposition lame duck, especially one as unpopular as Bush is, when your party has majority in both houses of Congress. It's a political gimmie.
Not that I disagree, of course...I'm just saying that I would have appreciated such candor earlier. You know, like before the nation was damaged.
7 years ago she was in the minority, saying it then wouldn't have achieved anything more. I'm hoping that her saying it today is a sign that the Democrats are beginning to show backbone again. Remember, the Democrats have majorities right now, but only just. And they get vetoed easily. Perhaps by pointing out that not only does the emperor have no clothes, but that he's got goose shit on his forehead, it will help the nations chances this fall.
