As I expected, it was a day.
Fun highlights:
As I'm walking up the steps, my boss calls security to see if I'm there yet and security asks her to describe me. They finish with "does he have glasses?" because they're watching me come in and she says "I can't remember!"
The moment I get upstairs, I get pulled into a meeting from 9 to 1. Better than having nothing to do all day though.
I already solved two problems for them, so they're pleased so far.
I managed to go the entire day without eating any (free or other) candy! I brought leftover Mac & cheese (my homemade) for lunch.
