In the last regular-season game of softball that I'll get to play, I hit an inside the park home run! I also came home from first on a single. I have no idea what posessed me to think I could run like that, but I made it!
Update: Evidently, as I was chugging towards third, the throw was coming in and the third base coach yelled "Slide! Get Down!" and I responded by yelling "NO!". Fortunately, this caused the third baseman to miss the throw and allowed me to run home. I don't remember either of us yelling at all.
