Damn you Beck!
Jul. 13th, 2005 11:44 amOn his new album, there's a song called "Girl". Quite catchy, can't quite make out all the lyrics.
For example, in the chorus he sings "My *murmur* Girl" The murmur sounds like "Summer" or something like it. I saw the video recently and it is clear he is NOT saying "Summer". or "Sunny" or any such thing. I can't tell what he IS saying though. I figured I'd look and see if there was a lyric sheet in the album. There is! Great! Now I'll just look up that line, it says:
my ... girl
You have to be kidding. That bastard is obscuring that one word (or more) on purpose? I don't want to wait for the next edition of the Becktionary to come out!
Anyone else heard it? What's your guess?
