Shiny and Clean
Mar. 17th, 2006 11:14 amMy car now has a brand-spankin' new windshield. I stood outside and talked to the guy and watched him replace it. Looks like a real pain in the ass to do. AND you get to do it wih lots of razors and sharp tools, one he even sharpened with a stone before using it! He's evidently had an accident a week before and had a splinted finger from the surgery to repair where he'd cut himself. He told me I could have had the stone chip filled, but my windshield was well on the way to becoming nothing but chip fills, so I let it crack and got it replaced. $239, but new, clean and spiffy.
Oh, and my face is cold.
