Apparently Aaron Spelling died recently. A friend posted about this and I thought I'd see what my friends list thought of this turn of events. Tell me what Aaron Spelling has meant to you and what you think he meant to TV.

UPDATE: I should have been more specific for my reasons for asking. I didn't want to prejudice anyone though. Most of the reactions on my friend's post were "good riddance" and "Why would anyone be sad he's gone"? I was wondering if people on my flist agree with that or think he made contributions to TV and/or society.
