Last Night

emilytheslayer, jeffwik and I had dinner at ryan4d2 and ioianthe's place. I bought actual vegetables for the dinner, though I'd been threatening to just get cheese.

After a wonderful dinner and some pleasant conversation, we stumbled upon a fun game and I'd like you all to play now.

Bender (from Futurama) is a wonderfully funny character. We thought any tv show would be made better with his inclusion. We then spent around an hour (including the drive back to jeffwik's place) inserting Bender into various tv shows, sometimes including theme songs.

Theme songs should include mostly "Bender is great", "You guys suck" and "Kiss my shiny metal ass"

Also, if any of you artist types out there want to create title screens with Bender inserted into or replacing the cast, that'd be great. Drawings, photoshop, whichever.

eBay

I'd heard recently, possibly from either shadesong or ioianthe that eBay is about to change its policy for charging sellers. What I recall is that soon they'll be eliminating insertion fees and charging more once an item sells to make up the difference. This will encourage more posting of items as teh seller won't have to pay anything if the item doesn't sell.

Am I remembering this correctly?

When is the new policy supposed to take effect?

I have a bunch of stuff I'd like to sell, but would prefer to wait until the new policy is in place.
