I suppose I should mention I've purchased a GameCube finally. I have four controllers and two games. I bought Super Smash Bros Melee and Mario Kart Double Dash. Soon the cries of "I'm the Best!" will be heard again, even if Toad doesn't say it anymore. I'm really looking forward to trying it out.
Doesn anyone have any recs for other games?

Sorry, I have a PS2 and am not familiar with what is out there for the Gamecube. Heck, I am not that familiar with what is out there for the PS2 for that matter. I usually wait until the games are reasonably priced 5 years later and buy the ones that have stood the test of time. Just bought half-life for $20 and had a blast with it.

I just convinced my bro to buy it for the nieces as there seems to be more good kids games. I bought two more controlers (for the four needed) and we got carts, monkey ball and the simpsons game. As I described it: A Christmas with a new video game system is "Pee-in-your-pants" exciting.

My sister in law is gonna hate this.....
