Quick Dreams

1) I was driving one of those trucks with the folded bridge on the back so they can quickly cross rivers. I was in a convoy of 4 of them that were all needed to make one bridge. For some rason my mom was yelling at me about barbituates. Then hagbardc called and woke me up. No idea where that dream was going.

2) I'd just graduated college and had to get all my stuff out of the dorms. At first it wasn't a problem, but the more I packed, the more stuff I found. Eventually I was finding things stacked in the corner like china cabinets and couches. I think this one just trailed off into other collegey things, but I never did get it all loaded.

3) I had to blow up an oil truck to stop a long and involved plot with bad guys needing the oil for their plane that they'd be using once their ship docked. There was lots of flashing back and forth to my brother on the ship, he was helping me, and me jumping on the moving truck and riding on the top of it. I managed to blow it up by opening and closing a hatch while it was stopped. Fortunately, the explosion ruined the oil, but was contained by the truck so I wasn't hurt. I think at the end, the evil plot turned out to be a family reunion of some kind...

4) As I was waking up I had a dream that telepresence wanted to start a contest on LJ to have people come up with metaphors for love and then overextend them. The one he used as an example in my dream was
My love for is like the branches of an ancient oak: expansive, sheltering and full of leaves around half the year.

Maybe this is what I get for going to bed at 4:30?

You obviously had a very exciting dream life last night! Mine all seem to be sparked when I'm ill and taking prescription cold meds. That you can have vivid dreams without the aid of mind-altering pharmaceuticals is very neat!

I am particularly taken by the embracing, yet time-constrained metaphor for love! :D

No, it was the [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] in your dream, who stood for part of you, clearly. :) Hell, if you can convince him to run it, I'd be in, but I still say it was actually your idea, and you should run with it. You can even throw in a credit to the dream-him if it makes you feel better.
