I'm going to Arima in a few minutes so maybe I should weigh. I'm sure I haven't lost anything. My motivation has been lacking. In my head I know what I should be doing but when I'm hungry it all goes through the window. AH well, every day is a new day right? Well etc today cause it's Indian Arrival Day and we're cooking curry. lol
That's just stage 1, and even if you don't win that stage, there is still stage 2 so don't lose any motivation if/when I reach my goal on Monday. I think it is awesome that we have motivated each other enough to get to the point we are at and probably won't rub it in too much if/when I win stage 1 because maintaining for the long haul is going to be the big challenge!
Now if I win stage 2 by a large margin, I will heckle/ridicule/scoff to a large extent. If you are maintaining a steady weight loss then I will probably limit it to normal levels. :)
And if I lose stage 2 I fully expect you to heckle/ridicule/scoff at me. :)
I figured I was the perfect competitor for you because you wouldn't want to lose to me. :) My whole intention from the beginning was to egg you on enough to start losing weight while I also lost weight. Dude, a couple more pounds and you are in the 250's instead of the 270's! Tell me that you aren't proud of that!
Next time we are in MA at the same time we will have to celebrate with a large dinner out somewhere. :)
I'm not going to be proud of anything until I've lost all the weight I need to lose. Anything else risks complacancy and that's why most of my past diets have stopped.
Well, you'll be up in MA after you lose the second half to me. : -)
And that's why we are going to negotiate future stages after stage 2 is complete. I need to maintain my weight, and you need to continue to lose weight. And by me helping you have incentive to lose weight, I am messing with all the other people you are in competition with. :)
As for your last bit there, I expect to be back in MA before Hell freezes over again (it already did once when the Red Sox won the WS). :)
I just took another look at your chart, it looks like you are on track to meet your Urnesha goal by the deadline that is set. That's good news on that front, right?
