Lame question of the day*

In an earlier comment,
chaoticmoth described himself as "Chaotic Neutral". I've always thought of myself as "Chaotic Good". What D&D alignment do you see yourself as? Do these characterizations fit Moth and I? Do we need more detail in some way?
*Feel free to try to top the lameness in your own post!

Date: 2006-07-24 06:11 pm (UTC)There's a quiz somewhere online where you can figure this out. I think I came out as a LN half-elven ranger/druid or somesuch.
Yeah, I think you're CG. Don't know moth well enough to comment.

Date: 2006-07-24 07:08 pm (UTC)A Lawful character obeys rules and strives for consistancy
A Chaotic character is inherantly situational and will do different things at different times in the same situation often for the same reasons.
A Neutral character doesn't feel compelled by rules, but tends to be more constant than a chaotic character.
Good, Neutral and Evil are fairly self-explanitory, but I'll give it a shot if you'd like.
You combine these two sets to get:
Lawful Good
Lawful Neutral
Lawful Evil
Neutral Good
Neutral Neutral
Neutral Evil
Chaoic Good
Chaotic Neutral
Chaotic Evil.
Now that I've made a hash of this, would anyone like to help clarify?

Date: 2006-07-24 11:49 pm (UTC)Having said this, I am Neutral Good. I do mostly what I can to help others, and I believe it important to follow the laws of society. However, I do think some laws need to be challenged at times, and I support the concept of a morality higher than human laws. Right and wrong are based on ethical considerations (and not religion). At the same time, I don't mind a little chaos, even if I do not always actively participate.
