Strange Dreams Lately

Last night I kept alternating between sex dreams and nightmares. Come to think of it, that'd be a great album name. Anyway, this has been true of the last 2 nights and they keep waking me up. It is all very annoying.

I'd much prefer more dreams like the one I had a few nights ago where I was bicycling through the Philadelphia countryside circa 1770 with Ben Franklin. We were discussing constitutional theory and practice.

Of course that dream left me wondering why they called it a "Constitution". Was this a word in use at the time? Did they create the word from other English words or derive it from Latin? If it was in use at the time, what was it being used for?

I've finally sent cds to chaoticmoth! I still have to do the "games" cd, but that one is tough. He'll just have to make do with the 3 I sent.

I apologize for the variation in sound level between songs. Unfortunately, my cd creator doesn't allow me to adjust sound levels.

Does anyone know of a good CD creator/ripper that does let you do that? And maybe make karaoke cds as well? I've been considering DartPro, but need to look into the features more. I also need to check the software that comes with the DVD burner I have.

Two Technical Questions

1) Would any of you be interested in a part time position (maybe full time) as a help desk person? You'd primarily be screening calls for the support team where I work. You'd likely also get to learn quite a bit. If you personally wouldn't be interested, do any of you know a student that'd like this job as a sumer job?



2) I've only created wikis on public systems that do the hosting and creation for you. Do any of you know how to set up a wiki on your own server? How hard is it? Do you have a resource that'd show me how to do it? What does it cost and what hardware would I need?
