emilytheslayer and I are engaged.
I asked her on Sunday morning just before we went to help ryan4d2 and ioianthe move.
On Saturday we'd gone to an all day party in NH at her friend and favorite jewelery-maker's house. The party was an excuse to pick up the necklace I'd had made for her. I did the initial design and she did a wonderful job translating that into her own style, which emilythelsayer loves.
The original plan had been to ask her that night, but we got home very late.

Oh Lynx...you WOULD say that.
Simple to me is a single strand or a single wire frame. This is more than 1, therefore, is elaborate. Plus, the detail is something else! I love how you incorporated a ring into it! It's something old and something new! Pretty sharp...
