It puzzles me that I'm seeing the number 130 million tossed about as "record breaking turnout" but Obama + McCain = only about 117M and i'm not doing the math there's no way the rest of the rabble ads up to 13M. Did 13 million people, one in ten of those who voted, actually not cast a vote for president?
Well, Obama + McCain + rabble listed = 121,197,986 votes. And CNN lists that that accounts for 97% of precincts. It is possible that with absentee and that last 3% and those that didn't vote for President, the total hits 130 million.
