Magic Cards

Should I sell mine? All of them or just some? I do have that Phil Foglio land game around somewhere that requires Magic Land cards and I probably couldn't sell those anyway.
I've been keeping them on the theory that we may all want to play again some day and that I wouldn't get much for them anyway.

If Yes and Yes, keep them all.
If No and Yes, keep them all
If Yes and No, sell the ones you don't play with anymore.

Date: 2006-01-11 06:13 pm (UTC)In general, the magic 'market' crashed several years ago, so don't expect to make a huge amount off of them. Certain cards are highly sought after, but most are not. I've been planning on selling off our collection for some time, but it's a hassle to inventory and categorize thousands of different cards for the purpose of shopping them around. Suppose we'll have to do it sooner or later, though.

Date: 2006-01-11 06:21 pm (UTC)Most of my cards are in great condition as most haven't been used and have been in card boxes since I got them.
I have lots from second edition and Arabian Nights through around 1995.

Date: 2006-01-11 06:34 pm (UTC)The actual card game was pretty fun at first, but slowly over time as more and more cards got released and the rules got more and more complex, and the dedicated players got more and more specialized and cutthroat, my enjoyment diminished greatly. I haven't played in years, and got rid of my last cards about a year ago.

Date: 2006-01-11 06:38 pm (UTC)geeksgamers can be harsh! :) Never heard of it but I've never been much of a gamer so that's not surprising. Also anything beyond Clue, Pictionary and Scrabble is way expensive in Trinidad so we don't actually play a wide variety of board games here. I'll change that when I start my board game club. ;)no subject

The best hole to dump money in in the mid nineties besides a coke addiction.
A great way for bearded, ponytailed 30 year old men to assert their dominance over 13 year olds.
Who we can thank for the existence of Yu Gi Oh.
